Chapter 466

Thomas's face darkened immediately upon hearing that, but he had no comeback.

Kian, who had lived abroad for years, chuckled and patted Holden on the shoulder.

"Holden, that's not fair. We all know what Thomas is capable of. His mind's always sharp, which is why he's made such a name for himself overseas. If you ask me, maybe Thomas has just changed his taste. He's not into those overly smart people anymore, so he keeps a clumsy assistant around. Teaching her step-by-step must be quite entertaining!"

As soon as Kian finished speaking, Thomas's face turned awkward.

But he held it in.

Kian, however, wasn't planning to let him off the hook. Raising an eyebrow, he asked again.

"Thomas, don't stay silent. Tell us how your little assistant clings to you with questions. She must be in awe of your abilities, looking at you with nothing but admiration, right?"

Kian's words instantly made Thomas and his assistant's relationship seem ambiguous.

Thomas sighed in exasperation.

He couldn't get rid of this assistant, no matter how hard he tried.

He had to keep her around and teach her slowly.

If he had known his partner's sister would be such a handful, he would never have agreed to let her join the company.

He wasn't the type to help just anyone, but he couldn't refuse this time.

He had underestimated the chaos a young woman could cause. She managed to miss the most crucial part of a contract review and even lost the pricing sheet.

It almost led to the other company terminating their contract. If he hadn't personally gone to apologize, it would have been a disaster.

He was clearly the biggest victim here, so how did it turn into him having something with his assistant?

He had no interest in that girl at all.

All he had left was a headache.

But he wasn't going to let Kian's words slide. If Kian thought he had no dirt on him, he was in for a surprise.

Thomas narrowed his eyes, turned to Kian, and smirked.

"Kian, you can't just accuse me without evidence. As the CEO, I have to set an example and properly guide my assistant. It's all work-related, so how did it become something else? But there's something I'm curious about. Can I ask for your opinion?"

"Go ahead!"

Kian showed no fear.

"Kian, what do you think about a man in his thirties who doesn't get married or date, but keeps visiting his neighbor's house to secretly meet and chat with their daughter? Isn't that a bit inappropriate?"

Kian secretly meeting the neighbor's daughter?

Isabella's interest was piqued.

No wonder Kian had never been linked to anyone romantically, despite being the first to settle abroad.

So he had someone in mind all along?

Isabella thought her little game had turned out to be quite revealing.

She had only intended to lighten the family atmosphere, but she ended up uncovering her uncles' hidden secrets.

And they were all shocking.

Thomas continued, "From what I know, the neighbor's daughter is at least seven or eight years younger than you and still a student. She has no idea someone has their eye on her. Some people are real schemers, not hiding their intentions at all, just waiting for her to grow up before making a move."

Kian calmly picked up his wine glass and took a sip. He didn't seem to think he had done anything wrong. Instead, he looked at Thomas with a knowing smile.

"I'm no schemer. I suggest you focus on solving your own problems. Whether you can't get rid of her or don't want to, only you know. Let me give you some advice: if you have feelings, act on them. Don't wait until you're in too deep to realize it."

Thomas was momentarily speechless. Kian, being a few years older, always knew how to hit where it hurt. But Thomas wasn't ready to think about that. He had never planned on getting married.

Isabella picked up her wine glass, trying to hide her excitement. This was just the beginning, and already two big secrets had come out. If she kept asking, who knew what else she might uncover? But today, she wasn't planning to let her uncles off the hook. One by one, none of them would escape.

Just then, Atticus spoke up in a deep voice, "Alright, enough. Look at yourselves. Isabella and Olivia are still here. Do you really need to air your dirty laundry for everyone to see?"

When Atticus spoke, his younger brothers listened. With Daniel gone, Atticus was like a father figure to them. But at this moment, seeing Atticus with a girlfriend the same age as his niece, and hearing his words... They all exchanged looks of disbelief. How could Atticus say that with a straight face?

Thomas, being the youngest, mustered the courage to retort, "Atticus, don't you think you're the last person who should be saying that?" He glanced at Olivia beside Atticus, then back at him, unable to understand. They hadn't seen each other for just a month, and Atticus had already found a wife? And one so much younger? Was he trying to rub it in their faces?

Holden chimed in, "I have to say, Atticus kept this well-hidden. Not only did you guys not know, but I only found out a few days ago."

With that, Kian followed suit. He smiled suggestively, "Exactly, Atticus. That's not fair. How could you steal Isabella's friend?"

Thomas immediately countered, "Atticus clearly likes younger women. That's his type."

They all took turns, not caring about the expressions of those involved. Olivia had only come to keep Isabella company, worried about her mood. She never expected to be bombarded by the Wilson brothers. And they weren't holding back. Her face turned beet red, and she wished she could disappear.

Seeing this, Atticus instinctively wanted to protect her, but his brothers held him back, insisting they hear his true feelings.
