Chapter 340

In a luxurious mansion, Bianca was on a video call with someone on her phone.

"Baby, I wanna be back with you ASAP, but my mission's almost done. Just hang in there a little longer, and I promise I'll come straight to you when it's over, okay?"

Bianca's voice was sultry and captivating. A bodyguard who had come to report something overheard the conversation and quickly lowered his head in fear.

Seeing this, Bianca shielded the phone screen with her body and casually asked, "What's up?"

The bodyguard immediately replied, "Ms. Taylor, we've lost the people tracking us."

Bianca snorted arrogantly and waved her hand dismissively. "I know. You can go now."

Once the room was quiet again, Bianca resumed her alluring demeanor. "Baby, why aren't you saying anything?"

"I need a specific time for your return."

The man's voice on the video was deep and emotionless, his face hidden in shadows.

Bianca pretended to think, trying to buy more time. "It'll take at least two months, right?"

The man was silent for a moment.

Even though they were half a world apart, Bianca still felt intimidated by his presence.

Without thinking, she quickly shortened the time. "How about one month? I'll definitely be back by then to be with you. You know I hate being away from you."

Her coquettish tone and pitiful expression would soften any man's heart.

Sure enough, the man's expression improved, but his tone remained firm. "Ten days."

"Ten days?"

Bianca bit her lip and pouted at the man on the screen. "That's too short. I really want to help you with some things. We haven't achieved the results you want yet."

"And I haven't avenged those who wronged me. I'm not satisfied."

How could she deal with Isabella in just ten days?

No, she had to negotiate for more time.

But the man had no intention of letting her argue.

"You've wasted enough time. Your mission has been reassigned."

"But I haven't..."

Before Bianca could finish, the man cut her off coldly. "Bianca, don't forget your place. Angering me won't end well for you."

"Yes."

Bianca trembled and didn't dare to say another word.

"I'll do as you say. I'll handle everything here in ten days and then fly back to you immediately."

"That's my good girl."

The man's approval made Bianca's eyes sparkle, and she returned to her seductive demeanor.

"You have no idea how much I've missed you these days. I wonder if you've missed me too."

A beautiful woman's flirtation was a powerful weapon.

It was Bianca's willingness to lower herself and please him that allowed her to thrive.

Her stunning looks and flexible body had initially caught the man's eye.

But it was her cunning and manipulation that helped her survive and rise to her current position.

Seeing the man's softened expression, Bianca finally felt relieved.

After soothing him with all her might, Bianca "reluctantly" ended the call.

Staring at the black screen, Bianca felt a strange sensation.

She could easily say such things to any man, even engage in more intimate acts.

But with Michael, she couldn't bring herself to do any of it.

In the months she'd been close to him, they'd only held hands.

But that didn't matter anymore.

From the moment Michael tied her to the bed and left, she saw him through.

He never loved her.

Even his previous actions were just repaying her for "saving" his life.

She had foolishly mistaken it for affection.

She had loved him wholeheartedly for years.

Now, he treated her like an outsider, with no remorse for sending her away.

What was there to miss about a man like Michael?

With only ten days left in the country, she had to avenge herself and her parents.

Otherwise, she might never return.

So, before Bianca left, Isabella and her unborn child had to die.

Thinking of this, Bianca called out, "Someone!"

A bodyguard entered promptly. "Ms. Taylor, what are your orders?"

Bianca lit a cigarette and instructed, "Find out Isabella's whereabouts. See where she's been recently."

The bodyguard nodded and left.

In just a few minutes, there was another knock on the door.

Bianca, surprised, said, "Come in."

The bodyguard brought both good and bad news.

"Ms. Taylor, our people report that the hospital confirmed Daniel's death due to illness, and the Wilson family has now activated their highest security measures. All information about Isabella is sealed."

Isabella was being protected, and given the Wilson family's current situation, it would be nearly impossible to track her.

Just as the bodyguard feared being scolded, Bianca burst into laughter.

"Daniel is dead?"

Isabella always talked about Daniel. Now that he was dead, she must be in immense pain, unable to eat or sleep.

If something happened to her unborn child now, would Isabella be so devastated that she'd consider suicide?

Just imagining the scene made Bianca feel ecstatic.

Perfect.

Bianca had lost her parents, and now Isabella was losing her loved ones one by one. It was the perfect retribution.

Bianca took a deep drag of her cigarette, her eyes gleaming with malice.

To get back at Isabella, she'd start with her child.

Whispering Pines Estates.

After lying in bed for a day and a night, Isabella finally woke up in the morning.

Looking at the familiar surroundings, her eyes were filled with confusion.

Cinda, who had been by her side, quickly approached. "How are you feeling now? Any better?"

"Cinda, I..."

Isabella's voice was hoarse, and speaking even a few words caused her throat to ache.

Cinda comforted her, "Don't rush. Take your time. Do you want some water?"

Isabella nodded slightly.

Cinda poured a glass of water and helped Isabella sit up, bringing the glass to her lips.

After sipping half the glass, Isabella's throat felt better.

She finally spoke again, "Cinda, how did I get back? My grandfather..."
