Chapter 36
Thomas calmly arranged for Isabella to be elsewhere, took a glass of red wine from the waiter, and stood in front of Michael.
With a faint, cold smile, he said, "Mr. Brown, you really have a long reach. But have you forgotten who I am? Even if my overseas business is affected, I still have the Wilson Family behind me. Worst case, I'll just go home and help manage the family business. But before I leave, I will make sure my team of lawyers wins this divorce case."
"Is that so?" Michael raised an eyebrow, indifferent. "Then go ahead and try."
The powerful aura between the two clashed intensely.
Bianca, sitting nearby, was treated as if she were invisible.
This made her feel very uncomfortable.
Isabella also emerged from the crowd. After her stunning appearance earlier, she had become the star of the night.
Wherever she went, all eyes followed.
Some even subtly inquired about her relationship with Thomas, wondering if they were really a couple. Isabella just smiled and didn't give a direct answer.
When she lifted her skirt and walked towards Michael, Bianca, sitting beside him, suddenly paled.
She had become a mere backdrop.
Both Michael and Thomas, with his commanding presence, couldn't help but turn their gaze towards Isabella.
Tonight, she was as beautiful as an angel.
Bianca's face turned even paler. She wanted to pull Michael away before Isabella arrived.
But Michael shook her off and walked straight to Isabella, blocking her path. "Come with me, I have something to tell you."
Isabella didn't move, her words laced with sarcasm. "Mr. Brown, what's this about? Do you have to be so secretive? Is it something that can't be seen in the light of day?"
Michael's face immediately darkened.
In front of everyone, he grabbed Isabella and pulled her into his arms, walking away.
Everyone was shocked.
The two had a secret marriage, and apart from close friends, few people knew Isabella was Mrs. Brown.
Now, Michael had just taken Isabella away, causing quite a stir.
Michael casually opened a lounge and pushed Isabella inside.
Isabella stumbled, almost twisting her ankle. "Michael, are you crazy? Your beloved Bianca is outside. Why did you drag me here?"
Didn't he care about what people would say about Bianca now?
Isabella looked up angrily, her black tight-fitting mermaid dress accentuating her figure. At this moment, Isabella seemed to be glowing.
Michael said, "Isabella, I think you've forgotten who you are. We haven't divorced yet. As Mrs. Brown, you should be staying at home instead of going out dressed like this to seduce other men. I think you're the one who's crazy!"
She seducing men?
He could say that without even thinking.
Of course, in his heart, she would never compare to Bianca.
He even defaulted to having Bianca as his companion.
Isabella looked up and laughed lightly. "So you know we haven't divorced yet. You can spend billions of dollars to please Bianca, but I have to stay home and wait for you, right? Or are you regretting the money you just spent and are now angry?"
Her voice was light, filled with sarcasm.
Michael's eyes narrowed. He closed the door and pressed her against the wall, trapping her from behind.
He was so tall that he easily enveloped her.
He leaned close to her ear and sneered, "Billions of dollars mean nothing. If you don't care, then even tens of billions wouldn't matter."
Isabella tried to move, but he anticipated it and grabbed her wrists, pulling her tightly into his arms.
"Michael, you're crazy. This is a hotel." Isabella exclaimed.
Michael didn't want to hear her talk. Her struggling body made him feel hot all over.
He slapped her firm, tight buttocks, his voice hoarse. "Do you remember the first rule of our agreement? Treating my words like air, do you think I'm a fool, or do you think I have no temper?"
In just a few days, she not only didn't keep her distance from Thomas but also attended the Wilson Family's banquet arm in arm with him.
Michael said, "Are you so eager to find another man? Do you think the Wilson Family will want you? Don't forget, you've been my wife for three years. Do you think Thomas won't care if you've slept with me?"
"Michael, you pervert, bastard!" Isabella felt helpless.
"Don't rush to curse. There's worse to come. Take off your clothes." Michael coldly ordered.
"What did you say?" Isabella was shocked.
"Don't pretend. You know what I'm saying. Or should I help you take them off?"
Isabella struggled fiercely.
Michael pressed his large hand on her slender waist, biting her lip as he turned his head. "If you don't want to, come with me. Go home now, and I'll spare you this time."
Go home?
Isabella, humiliated by him repeatedly, was furious. "That's your home, not mine."
"Do you want to keep making a scene?" Michael's eyes darkened. He took out his phone and dialed Sean in front of her.
"You should know Sean works for me. I can bring him here, and make him leave. Do you want to try?" Michael's threat was straightforward.
Isabella's face tightened. She almost forgot that Michael still had Sean.
Although Daniel's surgery was successful, his subsequent treatment still depended on Sean.
Sean couldn't leave now!
The phone rang, and Isabella quickly stopped him. "Michael, is this all you can do?"
Michael put away his phone. "Don't forget, you signed the agreement voluntarily. You were the first to break it. When it comes to tricks, I'm no match for you."
Isabella gritted her teeth in anger.
She knew he had no good intentions.
When Daniel recovered, she would definitely get back at him.
As she opened the door, seeing Isabella's exposed chest, Michael's eyes darkened. He draped his coat over her, not allowing any refusal.
He took her hand and walked towards the exit of the banquet.
"Michael, are you leaving?" Seeing them come out of the lounge, Bianca hurriedly chased after them, blocking their way. She bit her lip, looking at Isabella, who was held by Michael.
Her heart was filled with jealousy.
Tonight, her name was on Michael's guest list. Now that she was abandoned, how could she face the social circle in the future?
"Yes, find a ride yourself." Michael didn't hesitate for a moment, pulling Isabella out of the banquet.
Michael took her to the villa outside.
As soon as they entered, Michael threw a delicate box at her, as casually as throwing away trash.
Isabella immediately recognized it as the red diamond necklace she had auctioned tonight.
The gift box was the one she had taken from home.
"Take it. Something you've worn might not be wanted by anyone else. But it's better than throwing it away." Michael said emotionlessly as he loosened his tie.
